Planes, Trains and Automobiles Theme Preschool ~ Wednesday

Today, were doing Car Art. You need paint, paper and cars

You pour some paint on the plate, roll your cars wheels through the paint and roll them on the paper

I took this picture before it got to bad. It ended up looking like tar was poured on the paper, but he had fun.

We went to the library and JJ played with his cars on the rugs and through the block tower he built.

We got books about cars, trucks, a school bus and hot air balloon.

I read the Curious George book and that inspired our hot air balloon. You need: a balloon, watered down glue, and tissue paper. I have the tape to fix the hole in the only balloon I could find. It didn't work, so after I get another balloon, we'll make our hot air balloon. :)

Tuesday

Preschool Planes, Trains & Automobiles ~ Tuesday

We used a great Transportation Pack free from HomeschoolCreations. I laminated the puzzle and trace sheets to protect them and use them over again.
Make Your Own Popsicle Airplane
I used a glue gun, 2 large popsicle sticks and 3 plastic bingo markers (use buttons or whatever you have on hand.)

Glue 1 stick on top of the other

Glue marker or button on the nose for propeller and 2 on the bottom for landing gear.

Here's your cute little plane.
Tuesday's have turned out to busier than they used to be with Spring sports, so this is all we accomplished today. He was looking for airplanes in the sky, while we were outside, and found 3. We are going to use more of the Transportation Pack when we get to cars, boats and trains.
